Introducing Taylor & Co. Event Hire | The Launch of what lay ahead of us (who predicted 2020...) but were excited to bring something new and fresh to the events scene.
We're a bit like other couples who've landed in the events industry, finding ourselves looking for hire items for our big day that we just couldn't source easily. And so, we (or realistically he, our resident master craftsman) set about building furniture to suit our setting on the family farm - think 10 metre long trestle tables, a timber backdrop for our head table and, of course, a "rustic" bar.
Through one of our wedding guests we connected with the amazing Amelia and Christina, who'd curated the Maree & Co. event hire collection - and who, conveniently for us, were looking for a buyer for their business. Serendipity is a pretty magic thing and we're very proud to now be taking their business forward under its new brand - Taylor & Co. Event Hire.
Gareth's the Taylor: Technician & Logistics Specialist, Maker & Maintenance; and I'm the "& Co.": Mrs T, Event Specialist - and Chief Storyteller. As you might have read in our bio, we're known for our honesty; hardworking and dedicated to delivering a friendly and professional service for you.
We're proud to be part of an amazing community in the Mangawhai area, just over an hour's drive north of Auckland, and so, chose to host our launch close to home at the historic village, home of the Mangawhai Movies, and the 135 year-old former Mangawhai Beach School - the sweetest and most perfect blank canvas to showcase our range.
